it's been too long, my friends.  i haven't been upholding the oath i took to xanga and i apologize.

in the time since my last post several great changes have taken place.  my blazer has been traded in for a dodge dakota:



also, my eyes have been traded in for a pair of reading glasses.  don't have a picture of those.  i'm wearing them right now though.

otherwise things have been pretty calm.  which may be why there haven't been any posts.

yuck.

it seems like the longer i'm in college, the better it gets.  despite pulling my first all-nighter on wednesday/thursday morning, this week is going swimmingly.

anyway, i have a new aspiration in life: to be an ohio university tour guide.



you may or may not know that i quit my job at catering.  well, you know, i did.  actually i have a paycheck to pick up today... anyway, i might be getting a $10/hour desk job next march, which would be awfully nice, but for some reason when i see those tour guides walking around east green and telling kids about stuff, i so want to be one of them.  plus i'd be perfect for it because this is my hometown to begin with.

but i don't know anything about having one of those jobs.  i don't even know if it technically pays.  and if it does, then it's probably a work study job

i will let you know more as i discover more.

because ohio is a wonderful university, i only have one more day of class on tuesday, and then i just have to write a couple papers to turn in on the 19th.  and then seven weeks of vacation.  i am most excited.  though i will be taking an online class, but this is for the purpose of picking room assignments earlier next year.  i only hope my future roomie is keeping up her end.  but i'm not worried.
